The Trudon Abd El Kader Classic Candle 270g is one of the Maison’s most iconic creations, hand‑poured in Normandy, France, by the world’s oldest candle maker, founded in 1643. Inspired by the Mascara coast of Algeria, Abd El Kader captures the spirit of freedom and adventure, filling interiors with a vibrant, oriental freshness.

A gust of invigorating spearmint and lemon opens the scent, followed by spicy notes of ginger, clove, and apple. The fragrance deepens with blackcurrant bud, jasmine, and vanilla, creating a balance of crisp greenery and smoky warmth

Encased in Trudon’s signature hand‑blown green glass vessel, adorned with the gold royal crest, this candle is both a decorative statement and a sensory masterpiece. The Abd El Kader candle is the ultimate luxury gift for birthdays, anniversaries, and festive celebrations, or a refined indulgence for yourself.

Care Instructions

  • To enjoy the fragrance and beauty of your new Trudon Ernesto candle for the full burn time, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface during the first burn. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even melt pool.
  • Burn for no more than 2 hours at a time during the first third of the candle, then 1 hour at a time for the remainder.
  • To maintain the wick, trim the wick to 5mm before each use to avoid black smoke and soot. If the wick moves, gently reposition it while the wax is still molten.
  • Do not burn the candle all the way down; leave at least 5mm of wax at the bottom to protect the glass vessel.
  • Allow the wax to solidify before relighting.
  • Store candles away from direct sunlight and heat to preserve fragrance integrity.
