If you have selected at the check-out to collect your order from a store or collection point, we will contact you to let you know once your order is ready for collection. Please bear in mind the opening times of each collection point.

Shipping

 

Our standard shipping rate is £7.50 inclusive of VAT except for large items which will be £12.50.

 

We offer free shipping on a total shopping basket value of £75 or over except for large items.

 

LARGE ITEMS

The cost of the delivery for large items will be £12.50. When purchasing more than one large item a larger delivery cost will be displayed on the checkout; a discount will be applied to your shopping cart to ensure that the delivery cost will be £12.50.  

 

Please, be aware that some of the large items or big orders will be shipped in a pallet.

This is to protect the products from any damage during transportation.

 

We also offer a Click & Collect service in our Wilmslow & Weybridge showrooms.

Please select the corresponding option and checkout. We will contact you once your order is ready to colect. 

 

Where goods are in stock we aim to get goods to you within 3 days.

 

Goods ordered through this website will only be delivered to England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This excludes the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

Returns


The Home Library 30 Day Refund Policy and How to Return

 

We offer a Refund Policy to all customers so long as you notify us within 30 days of receiving the item(s).

We ask that items you wish to return are unused and are packed in their original packaging or a suitable equivalent in order to keep them in good condition for re-sale.

Once we have received your returned items and they have been checked you will receive a prompt refund for the cost of the items.  We're unable to issue a pre-paid returns label, returned goods are returned to The Home Library by the purchaser at their own cost.

 

Faulty goods can be collected by our delivery partner Monday to Friday 9-4.30 pm (weekend collections are not available), we will refund the postage charges if the item is faulty.

 

Laura Ashley Paints are non-cancellable or returnable and excluded from our standard returns policy.


We are however unfortunately unable to include bespoke or customised items in our standard returns policy. Items that are made to your individual requirements or size, bespoke light fittings, curtains, sofas, chairs and so forth cannot be resold by us. We work with you and do our utmost to make sure you are 100% satisfied before you place the order, but regret we are unable to offer refunds on bespoke items. Once a bespoke order is placed there is a 24 hour cooling off period during which the order can be cancelled. After this time bespoke orders may not be cancelled. Our production and delivery time for most bespoke items is 4/5 weeks and bespoke furniture is 10/12 weeks.

None of the above affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty or not as described.

If you discover after delivery that any items are damaged please report this to us as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours or we may be unable to refund. We will then contact to you arrange an appropriate resolution.
